Reinvention of the F word.
Foam cores have historically received a bad rap in the ski world; the F word (foam) is often associated with cheap rental skis. When foam is placed in fiberglass skis, they are known to breakdown after a couple weeks of hard skiing due to cheap foam mated with inferior resins and laminates. Enter aerospace grade foams that feature incredible physical properties at minimal weight. When mated with DPS’ proprietary carbon laminate, a special alchemy emerges—uniquely powerful, energetic, damp, and durable—these skis come alive under your feet. Make no mistake, DPS uses the finest materials found anywhere. Our foam and carbon laminate is the same found in fighter jet wings and Special Ops helicopter blades.
